Research Focus
Lauren is a researcher based in Cambridge, MA. She serves Infrastructure & Operations Professionals, providing insights and best-practice use of cloud computing (IaaS: public and private clouds) with a focus on the underlying economics and incentives behind it.
Previous Work Experience
Prior to her current role as a researcher, Lauren was a senior research associate on Forrester's infrastructure and operations team. She interviewed hundreds of I&O Professionals and technology vendors while conducting primary and secondary research reports and consulting engagements.
Education
Lauren graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in economics.

Brian Klingbeil is the senior vice president of hosting for Savvis. Prior to this role, Mr. Klingbeil was managing director of EMEA and also served as vice president of finance and strategic planning at Savvis. He has over 15 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industries and was vice president of finance for GTS Telecommunications prior to joining Savvis. Mr. Klingbeil has also held key finance and planning positions at Qwest Communications. He studied engineering at Miami University and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University.

Chief Technology Officer, Global Enterprise Services Company
While at XL Group as Chief Technology Officer, Neil led a global organization supporting 60 offices in 26 countries providing IT infrastructure, enterprise resource planning, business continuity, disaster recovery and vendor management/outsourcing services. Neil developed and implemented a global transformational IT strategy that reduced run rate expenses by 30% to create capacity for new business projects, extended service levels globally to 7x24, standardized business processes, and enhanced employee productivity and capability through IT innovation. Prior to joining XL, Neil was with the Securities Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC), an IT outsourcer owned by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the American Stock Exchange (Amex). Neil held several key positions during his tenure at SIAC. He managed the relationship with the Amex providing $80 million of IT services including application development, infrastructure operations, program management and telecommunications. Neil holds an M.S. in Management of Technology from NYU/Polytechnic University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
Pitney Bowes
Director, Cloud Operations & Information Security – Volly, Pitney Bowes Inc.
Ray has more than 18 years experience in network operations, systems administration, and information security and currently holds the role of Director of Cloud Operations and Information Security with Volly at Pitney Bowes based in Stamford, CT. Prior to Volly, Ray held the dual role of Chief Technology Officer/Chief Security Officer for Innovest Systems, a trust accounting and wealth management SaaS provider based in New York, NY.
Ray has spent the last eight years primarily focused on information security and security architecture related to application service provider (ASP) and more recently cloud models (e.g., SaaS and IaaS). He holds numerous certifications including the CISSP as recognized by ISC(2) and CISM from ISACA. Ray has a B.A. in English from East Tennessee State University and is currently working to complete a MS in Computer Information Systems with a focus on information security from Boston University.
